Sigh......project with CMT hit the first bump

It actually wasn't my fault

The project team leader really likes my speed. He keeps telling me he that he's really impressed my ability to get things done way before the deadline.

However, the deal with CMT maybe going bad. This is because of other team members - The modelers!

They have already missed deadline three times (due to their addiction to TV games ) and CMT is very pissed about this.

Our 'coordinator' has to talk to them to see if we can keep the job. If the talk collapes my effort made on this project will go waste

Keeping my fingers crossed.......

Well, if they're trying to model Travis Tritt's mullet, I could understand the delay.

That man sports an ape cape halfway to his ass.

    Hey, Travis: "here's a quarter...call someone who's a barber..."

    Oh, great googoly moogoly, Leonis!

If anyone deserves to get the axe, it's those fool modelers! Have you done much 3d work before? I know you used some C4D in that online comic a while back. Maybe now's a good time to learn and show off an even greater array of skills!!

Anyway, here's wishing you the best of luck and that this all gets resolved with as little bloodshed as possible.

::shudder:: I just checked that link... oooh, that'll give ya nightmares.

You know starfleet (oh where's your "X" btw?).....

modelling and animation are my worst areas.

I am one of the worst modelers / animators on the planet

Don't you notice why I never mention about my own model creation and real animation stuff? That's why.

What I can and like to do in this area are

    1) Background painting

    2) Compositing

    3) Texturing

BTW.....they are asking me to ditch Maya and go to learn SoftImage XSI 2.0...... gotta get a kick ass PC asap......of course if I have enough cash. Because the CMT project is going to get f*cked up at anytime my funding is now on hold

Yeah, I understand ya' about not being great with the modeling. With myself and the very few graphic-oriented people I know, it seems you're either in one camp or the other: 2D or 3D, with little in-between.

Man, oh, man. SoftImage? Blech. I tried it once in a class and didn't like it.

Oh well. <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" /> As always, keep us posted on the continuing adventure!

The animator / modeler got fired today. And now the team leader is looking for another person to fill the spot
