Is a TiBook G4 PC slot fast enough for a USB2 card?
We have an old 1Ghz G4 Titanium PowerBook which only has USB 1.1 ports. (has FW 400 also)
It would be nice to be able to take advantage of the lower cost USB2 drives and enclosures but the speed of the USB 1.1 ports is painfully slow for data transfers.
Is the PC slot on my old PB going to be fast enough to take full advantage of USB2 speeds if we stick a USB2 card in there??
