Originally scheduled to open this Saturday, Apple has postponed the grand opening of its new store in Frankfurt, Germany at the last minute. Apple has not yet revealed when the store will eventually opened, though according to Gary Allen of ifoAppleStore, it is expected in January 2010.

The three-story location was constructed in an existing building, but was heavily remodeled to meet Apple's standard architecture requirements for its retail outlets. Apple has updated the official page for the store to say it will open "soon."

It has been said that construction issues likely lead to the last-minute delay. Apple has said it is "putting the finishing touches on the final touches."
