    Experiments on iPhone You Can Do
    1. Confine yourself to a room wherein GPS signal is not seen by iPhone. Both 3G/EDGE and WiFi networks should nevertheless be available,

    2. Put your iPhone on 3G network (well... if you're in NYC, try to),

    3. Launch Maps app and make it determine your location --- the location of the nearest cellular base station is shown as a blue point on the map,

    4. Put your iPhone on WiFi network,

    5. Launch Maps app and make it determine your location again --- your exact location is shown as a blue point on the map.
