The average person?

This guy is "average"? Looks below average to me. Like Ponch on C.H.I.P.s. She could have found a better match than this loser (I guess he's #4)...at first she looks like she's giving him the finger <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />

With the look of joy on her face and the cheesy grin on his, I think he's giving HER the finger

I cannae believe it's jist 6 times. Surely there isnae a man amongst us who hasnae fallen in love as mony times as there are stars in the night sky; as deliciously as the mingling perfumes on the terrace o' a rose garden on a balmy velvet evening; or wi' a direct correlation tae the number o' bonnie lassies in Sauchiehall Street on National Groovy Chick Day. My guidness - a laddie such as mysel' was simultaneously in love wi' all o' the glamour girls (and there were quite a few o' them) that used tae appear on the Tenant's Lager cans 20 years ago before such advertising practices were banned.

As tae that laddie in the photo there, there is something o' the 1970's dj aboot him, but he maks up for this by the power and wealth implicit in his expensive spectacles. He also has a' his teeth which surely puts him above the median.

Edited tae fix spelling mistakes. Cannae get the spelling checker tae work.

You're right Mac o' the Isles. I just fell in love again at the coffee shop. Tall, lean, black sweater and a short skirt. It was love at first sight. It was not meant to be.

This man is clearly above teh median, if not just for the spectacles then at least for his shear presence, his, how do you say it -savior faire that is evident in his postuer . . . besides with him his retro is calculated whereas methinks that with many of the techno-geek crowd hereabouts its unintended retro...and unknowing as well . . .he knows therefore that at least adds a few points on the meter.

I'm a hopeless romantic. Fall in love everyday. Well, you know...you see a beautiful lady and mutter "I could marry her..." I think being an artist doesn't help.

I've never tried these matching sites on the web or in the paper. It must be kind of wierd emailing or calling people cold like that. I'd rather go out and meet someone face to face and get to know them that way and see where it goes.

I love those art chicks. You know the ones I mean. Man I love them. I got to hang out with a couple two weeks ago. If I could just lose the wife I'm sure I'd have a chance with them

    *LMAO*

That was the funniest damn post I've read this year. The spell checker thing made my sides hurt! Man, I'm glad we're not all a bunch of proper-English-speaking clods around here...good to have a foreign accent in the mix!

    God Bless ya, Sir Mac!

As for the number of times we've all "fallen in love", let's not forget none of us had a freaking clue what the word meant until we were at least in college or possibly beyond. Puppy love, lust, and horn-doggedness don't count!

At least that guy isn't sporting a backward ball cap and goatee.

Hey, I think I fell in love at least 90 times during the week I was in Montreal. That must have been a record.

...and the wonders of Photoshop. Jeez, I could post a pic of myself with all the flaws cloned and airbrushed out and I would still beat techno-fart up there...

    I'm sayin...

The guy in that picture is NOT what I would consider to be a handsome fellow. I mean, he ain't ugly but yeesh. Lets put it this way, most chics who look like that one wouldn't date a guy who looked like him - unless of course he was filthy stinkin rich or was hung like an elephant. Although she'd look a lot better if the makeup and hair were turned down a notch...OK, notch-in-a-half.
