Heartless Americans Attack a Hospital

The war on terror is now the war on the sick. This is the next step in the Enronification of Afghanistan. The US bombed the entire country flat and now they are killing sick people in the hospital. This is just the latest example of how the US disrespects human rights at each and every step of this racist war on women and children.

    From the article:

Afghan commanders said three of the Arabs were killed by grenades and three others in the assault, some of them hiding under beds.

    What a bunch of babies.

Anyway, your comments are obviously sarcasm because from that article I got no indication that there were any patients in the building or if there were there was no mention of them. Also it was stated that the operation was 100% Afghan and US was there only as 'advisers'. I'm sure the Afghans wanted their hospital back for real patients. They just needed to exterminate the rats holed up in there.

The US should find different ways to deal with these problems. Did "talking" every occur to them? Why weren't these innocent freedom fighters given a chance to give? Instead the US just shoots first and kills later. Bush, Franks and Powell need to face a war crimes tribunal for this act of inhumanity.

The best vision of what Afghanistan is like right now would be watching Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome. Warlords fighting warlords fanatical, desperate freaks running about. Insane.

Enron was destroyed by greedy corporate assholes and (the biggest assholes) stock market anylists...the same ones who destroyed the internet market. Greed...plain and simple.

    Did anyone see Frontline's <a href="http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/dotcon/"; target="_blank">Dot Con</a>?

What the ****ing hell are you talking about Scott H? Do you have any idea how long those pigs where in the hospital? For about a month now or more. They where given plenty of chances to surrender (many did) and negotiate. Instead they chose to stay and endanger the lifes of others. The devils got what they deserved. To bad we havent been able to crusify bin laden.

Maybe after we took the hospital we should have dragged there bodies through the streets, like was done in Somalia. Or maybe burned them alive, crushed them, or make them jump out of a skyscraper like was done to innocent civilians on 9/11. Take your pro-terrorist views and kiss my ****ing ass you whore.

Just saw the coverage of this attack. Jesus, there were patients and doctors in there while all this was going on! The US Special Forces worked the outer perimiter and the Agfan freedom fighters went in and killed them all...they would not surrender. Crazy.

What I don't get is, why not interrogate the bastards first? At least get a little info-loot from them before you splatter their gizzards on the wall!

You're starting to sound like an intellectual-aristocrat, Scott. Though I can't really tell if you're joking or not. Our negotiation efforts in Afghanistan didn't work too well. As it is I thought the turnaround from wait-for-negotiations to let-em-have-it took much too long. The Al Quaeda and the Taliban had threatened American property before, and there is no reason to believe that they had suddenly become innocent.

Besides is the fact that our military is not particularly impulsive. It CAN'T be because there is too much bureaucracy for that, which in the case of the military isn't entirely a bad thing.

Okay okay I'm joking. Most regulars here know that well.

Some sort of weird thing happened in this world where it was thought that armed men who refuse to give up are some how prisoners or war and not dangerous combatants.

I wonder, when was it that this kind of stupidity became almost everyday blather? Why is it now acceptable?

if liberals wern't so often their own worst enemy, then I would expect many well rounded and thoughtfull retorts to such low-brow slinging of catch phrases . . . . oh well.....

    anyway

Agreed that many lefties are idiots and many have knee jerk reactions against the US... but not all. Nor, do I think, that every conservative has to sound like a frothing Mcarthy or Mosley, or be an idiot.

    just another thing:

[quote] You're starting to sound like an intellectual-aristocrat <hr></blockquote>

isn't that the kind of thing that Goering used to say . . .do away with "all dem intayllayctchewals" and "Kulcher mawngurs"?

Im starting to wonder wether killing Bin Laden is the real goal of this operation, or even really the right thing to do.

No, I am not a terrorist sympathiser, but the last thing that we need right now is a al-queda martyr, and in taking down Bin Laden that is exactly what we would create.
  • Reply 18 of 22
It's my belief that if he isn't already, BinLaden will be killed and not a soul except his killer will know.

Kill him and publicize it = martyr

Arrest him = 1000's of terrorist acts on humanity demanding his release...

I think BinLaden will go the way of the dead and we'll just say he evaded us and we give up.

If bin Laden's death creates a new wave of zealots, that's fine. We'll just kill them too.

The best thing would be him just dying in a cave and never be found. We wouldn't know if he is alive or dead but since we'd never hear from him again he would just slip into history books beside names like Hitler and Attila the Hun.
