AC Power Adapter blown on my 2008 17" MBP
Anyone here have similar experiences? I bought a MBP (17") in July of 08. The AC adapter has stopped working, and gets burning hot to the touch. I verified the port is fine by using an adapter from the 17" MBP I just bought a month ago and it works fine.
It's a few months out of warranty. What are the odds that they'll replace it for me anyway at an Apple store and are there any tips on how to approach this with them?
