That's right, ignore the message, just dismiss him as a troll.
This iPad is bringing in new members, a lot of which are here to bitch (lol that rhymed) but people like him who know what they're talking about stand to keep the discussion interesting.,
cmon now.
I am sorry he just registered to whine about the dead tec that is flash?
I have used one flash site out of 500...give me a break.
Absolutely everything Apple has done before has been surrounded in hype and they've compeltely pulled it off - but this (as the share price right this second would suggest) is NOT their finest hour.
Dude, do you actually trade stocks? Buy the rumor, sell the news. Check stock prices on AAPL after many of its events...sometimes it spikes, sometimes it sells off - at least that's my recollection from when I used to trade it.
Besides, the whole market has been on a downtrend for a week now..I wouldn't read too much into the iPad's future sales based on your snapshot evaluation of the current stock price.
Well, it's a wait and see for me. I'm interested, but with the iPhone I wanted one as soon as I saw it, this I'm not sure.
It might be great, or I feel it might be a MacBook Air, which I never quite got the point of. Looking forwards to it being in the Apple store so I can go and have a play with it.
I just told my wife the EXACT same thing. Then she yelled at me and said "NO, you already bought that huge lookin mac you don't need another one!" at least my 27 i5 doesnt flicker like everyone elses...

He brought logical reasons to the table as to why flash isn't "dead tech." What have you brought?
If you're going to engage in a debate, simply calling someone a troll and then providing no substantial reasoning for your viewpoint will result in a very boring conversation.
I get into this sort of thing with people on youtube. You have an opinion different than theirs, they call you a name, you ask for a better response, they never return lol
Do I need to mention the legion of creative professionals whose work benefits from motion? Don't waste my time with that tweener animation crap that jQuery brings to the table for forms. It's not truly interactive.
Google is starting to index it. Flash now supports deep-linking. Bing doesn't, but who cares about Bing? Silverlight is a Hulu novelty.
Your, and Apple's mistake, is to continue to think Flash is a video codec.
If you use Flash correctly, it's a interactive movie in the form of a website that cannot be replicated by lesser, traditional technologies.
HTML5? Are you serious? I suppose you think 99% of users will be able to see CSS3 content tomorrow, too?
I couldn't agree with you more. Not to mention that it is completely frustrating to go to a website that may have useful information and all you see is a flash plugin. How is that a better browsing experience?

Cute, but I'll stick with my Touch and Macbook.

I wonder what's Apple definition of 'Unlocked'
16gig for base model? what's this? 2003? there is no sd card slot just for the price reasons..
And yet people still use Flash.
Why? Because if you can imagine it, it's possible to make in Flash.
Tell me how HTML 5 Plans to accomplish THIS.

Is there going to be a "one more thing"?
Apparently Not... Oh Well
I do think it is a problem for it to not have a camera. That is surprising.

Porn, not porn? ;P
In all honesty, I personally do mostly just reading anymore, but places like hulu are probably the most flash-tastic places I visit.
