Dual monitor question

Hi, I'm planning on hooking up a monitor from my old PC to the iMac (21.5 base model) and was wondering if this uses any more resources or causes slow down on the iMac?

Probably a obvious question but I'm new to Macs and not really a computer genius :P

Thanks

The 9400M I believe is limited to the 256MB taken from your RAM for both displays. The GPU has to work a little harder but for desktop stuff isn't a big deal. You shouldn't see any noticable slowdown unless you're doing 3D renders to both monitors.
