BEIJING, Apr 26, 2010 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- Due to the quit in Mainland China, the world's largest Internet search service provider Google Inc. (GOOG) saw its share of the mainland search engine market fall to 31% in the first quarter of 2010 from 35.6% in the fourth quarter of the prior year, Ms. Li Zhi (transliterated), a senior analyst at Analysys International, a leading advisor about the technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) industries in China, said in a quarterly report released on April 23.

Google moved all its search traffic to its new home in Hong Kong on March 23. Its search business has already been back to a steady level by now, after a drop for a while. It does not witness a sharp decline in terms of both domestic traffic and number of advertisers
