baseball and hockey are 2 very different sports... one is a 162-game MARATHON where you dont want to hurt yourself early in the season and **** up the rest of the year and even your carreer. Baseball is a game of waiting and finnesse(sp?) where your mindset is just as important as your skill level.... hockey on the other hand is more of a contact sport, so people are used to hitting each other and have been used to it all their career(sp?)... its more of an emotional game so the harder you push yourself the better it is usually... the same is not usually true for baseball...
Also, baseball catchers go through HELL... can you imagine wearing hot catching gear in 95º+ heat in the sun all day AND get beaten up by foul balls and balls in the dirt, not to mention plays at the plate?... dont count baseball out as a "sissy" sport just because you arn't familliar with the finer points of the game...
now im also not saying that baseball takes more balls then hockey to play because well that would be untrue.... people have to be built for hockey to stand a chance but in baseball there is always that wildcard shrimp or overweight pitcher that can play and play pretty well...
hockey is fun to watch for me (ive never really had a chance to play for an extended period) but baseball is much more fun to play... (watching on the other hand is a real pain in the ass--but dont get me started...)

How about a good ol' game of name that tune?
I'll start:
hmm hm hm hmmmmm... hmmm hmm hmm hmm hm hmmm.
dono never used it, but saw some people on it today...
Mets tied up the game a while back... now it's 6-6 in the 9th! Atlanta's bullpen's been looking pretty bad.

of course i fell asleep at this point.... too bad, i would have liked to have watched what happened... they won right?

Yep, Fonzie had the winning RBI in the 12th.
They won again tonight, I feel asleep so I missed most of it, but Astacio had a complete game and pitched great from what I heard.
Get some sleep and get ready for the NHL playoffs man. Watch a real sport.
Baseball:
"Coach, my leg is a little tender."
"Better sit this one out."
Hockey:
"Wrist looks broken son, and that gash in your head is going to take 10 stiches to close."
"10 stitches?! Sew me up fast we're down 2 goals. Where the hell is that wrist brace..."
