has anyone ever read "the lottery" by shirley jackson? its pretty wild, check it out.

    Yup, it's standard fare in middle school.



    So is An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge by Ambrose Bierce, another good short story...with a twist.

    thats funny, I just read it for the first time in 11th grade almost everyone else in the class had read it before...I guess my middle school just sucked

    Yeah I read that last year in 7th grade.
