Don't be mean to poor Jason. He is apparently stuck in the land of the semi-famous. He's famous enough (especially with smart geeks for Arrested Development) that all the geeks in the line would probably harass him, but not famous nor rich enough to pay a personal assistant to go stand in the line for him.
The article states that Apple employees took him out of the line and escorted him into the store. I do not see anything wrong with that and I do not think he is a jerk. Apple should've had some class and escorted him into the back entrance if they wanted him to "cut the line." If you are an elite/wealthy person, MONEY talks.

That sucks. And to think I thought his recent movies were kinda alright.
It's hard being stuck in the middle.
...although he probably should have paid for a phone for at least one more person who was in line to offset the benefits of his celebrity.
