Macbook Pro I7 vs Powermac G5 dual 2gig

This may sound hilarious...

I have a very old Powermac G5 dual 2gig and was wondering what the performance difference would be between it & the latest Macbookpro I7..



Is it unbelievably faster, or am I better off with an imac I7?



I want to start editing & processing video

    Google the Geekbench website. Research the benchmark scores listed there.
