What's the next concert you're looking forward too? I'm looking forward to The Hives, Queens of The Stone Age, Green Day/Blink 182 and The Who? Anything else I should be on the lookout for?

How is this related to the tech industry? Just curious, because I see a Uhaul in this thread's future.

You don't need to be so judgemental. By the way, get your ears checked.

The only good thing about the 80s is that we are getting further away from them every day.

(Yes there were good typical 80s music as well. Pet Shop Boys, Eurythmics, Depeche Mode etc. But the "music to avoid"/"music worth listening to" ratio has never been higher than in the 80s. And anyone remember how many Swedes with ugly hair that inhabited the 80s? )

I hope Oasis comes around my neck of the woods soon. My wife saw Bad Religion a couple of months ago and said it was the best rock show she'd seen in ages.

I'll be at that Robert Plant/Who show as well Applenut. At least there's some music we can agree on.

I can't wait. I had tickets for the show when they were going to play with Jimmy Page and the Black Crows but I got the flue that week and had to miss it so my family went without me. This time I'm going no matter what. The last time I saw The Who was the Quadraphenia tour several years ago.

I wish Jimmy Page's back wasn't so bad so that he could make a "guest appearance"

    Applenut:

Seeing Phil Lesh & Friends and Government Mule on your list, have you been thinking about going to Bonnaroo? The list of artists is just sick. Gov't Mule, Widespread, Keller Williams, String Cheese, moe., the list goes on and on.

I just saw Widespread last week when they came to Savannah, and they ****in' rocked my world. 3 hours of jam band goodness. They are really on top of their game right now. So sad what's happening with Michael Houser (guitarist) though. Even if I'm not able to get tickets to Bonnaroo (they're going for like $400 on eBay, but they say they're going to open up more tickets), I'm glad I saw them in Savannah - since it looks like it may have been one of their last shows, together as we know them now, anyway.
