During halfway into the series, the X-Files series suddenly become a very ?friendly? alien series. I suspect that the ?real? aliens used ?their? influences on the series.
Hey. ?They? got control of the goverments, the organizations, and the media. Reforming a TV series is a piece of cake.
Okay - I stopped watching the X Files about three years ago. I just coulnd't take any more of the silly teasing plots and bad lighting. I tried to watch last night but essentially had no clue what was going on and quit. What's the bottom line?
Doggett arrived about 5 or 6 episodes ago. Mulder reappeared [briefly] in an episode last night. So i'm well out of the loop...
ARG! THAT ENDING SUCKED MAJOR DONKEY BALLS! Carter must have been enjoying his rim job too much when he was doing it - the way it ending was sappy like a pine tree.
There's hope
Dear LORD! There's no hope- you're all doing to die and you know when it will happen!
The show should have ended in a blast of nuclear fire!
They showed what the end looked like...it was in one of Mulder's visions. Lots of ships flying around shooting lasers and burning everything in sight...no nukes though...
Knock it off. Scully is (and always was) beautiful.
But she did seem a tad heavier, in her cheeks and neck area, as well as her fingers in one scene.
I liked how it ended. No one died (which I was afraid of...I just KNEW they'd kill off Skinner, Doggett and/or Reyes).
This leaves it open nicely for what I've been advocating for a few years now: pull a "Star Trek: TNG" and get out while the gettin's good and just release a cool theatrical feature film every 3 years.
Actors are happy (no grueling series work), Carter is happy (doesn't have to repeat himself and dig up old plots) and, most of all, the fans are happy. We'd rather see one good movie every 2 or 3 years (and be hungry for it) than to sit and watch our beloved TV show fall further and further away from it's peak of 3-4 years ago.
The past couple of seasons have just been lacking.

Is it just me or does Scully seem to have put on some weight? And her hair is longer too.

That's exactly what I thought, too.Is she pregnant? Or just fatter?
I don't remember any visions where Mulder showed ships with lasers.
