Lakers-vz-Kings?? any takers?

I was rooting for the Lakers then I switched loyalties . . . I like the Kings, thier teem has character and charisma without the arrogance of the Lakers . . .

I also think that they play more like a team, having an over all balance of better players rather than relying on two superstars.

The exact same could be said of the Nets against the Celtics (except the Celtics don't have the arrogance) I have come to like the Nets --though I am partly Celtic in heritage and that makes me (as an idiot when it comes to sport loyalties), root for Boston . . . The truth is the Nets have a well rounded team and they too have alot of charisma on their team.

soi I'll wager

the Kings by 1 point tonight (though it would make for truly exciting game seven if they loose by just one or two)

and

The Nets by at least 6 . . they have home court tonight.

any takers for some fictional cash?

    Senegal!!!

How much money do we have riding in this? I'll make a prediction. My bold prediction is if the Kings and Nets win tonight, they will win the series. But seriously, I think if the Fakers win tonight they will win the series. Look or the Celtics to get it done tonight.

Oh God the shame...it was the Avs in 7 all right. As in seven goals and out. Boy did Roy suck. He should've left after the the third goal (was obvious to everyone who was watching / who knows the game that he was on a different planet). Instead he ended his team's chances by staying in for pride's sake.

Aebischer played well while he was in, and the Avs can score 3 goals in 3 minutes when they play hard. What a fvcking disaster. Well, Hartley can get his third series win against Bowman next year.

All I have to say is GO CANES! I think they'll actually make a series of it. They won't get an ounce of respect from anyone - and this time that phrase actually means something, unlike the way it's used in other sports. They've managed to get by the two teams everyone knew would come out of the east and they're still intact personnel wise.

I hope they pound on Detroit, win or lose. Make em earn it. Plus, ya gotta love Ron Francis and that Cole kid. What a story. An Irbe, with his player's helmet / funky mask, and the 50 year old, stench-ridden pads. <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />

    Hockey goes ANYWHERE!

The Av's let Roy's "mystique" damn them. Good, I was sick of that guy anyway. I still harbor ill will towards Roy for that "wink" at Thomas Sandstrom in the 93 Stanley Cup Finals.

Bob Hartley looks like an old Adam Sandler. Too bad, Rob Blake, you money hungry bastard. We were loyal to you all your years here in L.A. and you shafted us. Maybe u can come hang out in Manhattan Beach like you used to. It's not like you'll be playing anymore this summer.

    Now back to basketball...

Okay, so the Nets won, that's what I expected. Lakers win... okay yeah they're good enough to force a game 7, so not really a surprise. As far as game 7, should be awesome, and the Kings will have to withstand LA's best effort, but I think the Kings will squeak by because of homecourt, so Kings by 5.

Clearly the MOB was paying the officials to work for the Lakers...&gt; they called every little tap possible and even some where there weren't even any taps.... and always when guarding O'neal. They were seriously off base with many of the calls against the Kings . . . . and if they hadn't of been so biased the Kings would have won

its obviouse they are a better, more well rounded team!
