Companies being charged for "dumping oil"
One company charged $8000 for oil cleanup
Another $70,000 for oil cleanup...
Some companies around my area disposed of oil through another business, which dealt in "enviromental disposal" As far as the companies knew, this oil disposal business was legit. Apparently not. This oil disposal business just dumped the oil instead of enviromentally disposing it. Well, it went out of business. Now the bill is being stuck with the companies! How outrageous!
