And apart from that, there really have been some VERY strange refereeing decisions in this World Cup
It really *is* time to make use of video replays, but I guess Sepp Blattner wouldn't like that.

Olli Kahn keeps mentioning that luck isn't just a present. You have to do something for it. And after all, he doesn't care what anybody says, as long as the team wins, no matter how. That's the spirit.

And that defines the current German team. Wanting to win by any and all means. I was shocked how they played the second half against USA ... but ... after all, they are in the semi final.

Of course, all teams do it and he´d be stupid not have done it. And he got away with it.

I think Mr. Blatter is repaying his debts that he made when he got "re-elected". Obviously South Korea, Germany and Brazil threw their support his way.

The rule is: When the hand moves to the ball, it's foul. When the ball moves to the hand - OK.
Frings had his arm on his side, and clearly the ball jumps at his hand - and THEN he pulls back his hand. I'd say the same about this situation if it was another team, really.
It was not foul, it was just dumb luck, which is the main feature of this team (except Olli).

The president of the German Soccer Association is a VERY suspicious guy. Just like Blatter, and they are friends obviously. I really wish the whole truth about the FIFA business would come to light ...

It is when it benefits the team or player involved.
There is such a thing as ball to hand but that only goes when it doesn´t mean the player hit by the ball benefits. Since this ball to hand prevented a goal it should have been a penalty.
