Well, i'll be spending a bit more time on AI since when I went to work today I found out that I will be unemployeed indefinately. Could be 1 day, 1 month, 1 year, forever...who knows. Anyone know of a good paying job opening in the Southern Illinois area? Ain't life a bitch?

    Thanks for the symapthy...

For the mod, just take the four small torque screws outta the LCD (2 on each side) and then pop the LCD case off...

then you'll see the inside apple light...and just put some colored plastic wrap from your local grocery store over it...screw the case back on, and viola!

Just remember to tighten the screws just enough...one of mine was too tight and it made the LCD corner by the Mic flicker when I moved it...

Be careful...and of course do it at your own risk.

Oh yeah, and on top of everything...

I found out on Sunday night that my son's great grandmother had a heart attack and my die...AND my mom may have breast cancer but can't afford to go to the doctor to treat it...

    But hey...i'm not bitter...

I disagree. Things won't work out, you will just find a way to move on.

I suppose it's the pessimist/optimist view though. I've been whacked by the 'Fvck You' stick many times in my life. The things never worked out, I just found a way to move on instead

I say you get a bartending license and try that career path for a little bit. In this economy, people are always depressed enough to drink

    Cheers to that Jack.

I don't mean to get mushy here, but I want to thank you guys. I'm not really depressed about all this, just a bit bummed. But one thing that has been bothering me is that none of my friends have seemed to even care enough to give me a call. I emailed a couple of them, and the only on that called me was the one that I didn't expect to, and he is out of town on business and roaming on his cell phone.

I don't doubt their friendship, but it nice to see that as much as we may disagree on this forum, we all still seem to be friends. Seems more like an online hang out than just a forum sometimes.

    Anyhow, thanks again guys.

yeah, that's why I like this place so damn much

I was kind of serious about the bartending thing. Get your license and go pour drinks for strangers for a few months. It's a nice thing to know how to do, and it should also give you some time to clear your head. I know a handful of people that have done this to just take some time off. I don't necessarily speak from experience, but I would go so far as to recommend it.

    So give it a thought

[quote] I find Fellowship to be a quality of life that is not worth doing without.. When you find people of open hearts who are 100% honest with their lives and experiences it is amazing how we as a people can forge ahead in life no matter what we are faced with...

I'll be honest...I don't have an ounce of religion in my body, but I live my life like this. I do many things for other people and donate my time because it's what makes me whole.

I'm also sorry to hear of your hard times, and am positive things will get better for you in the near future.

I'm not worried, just a little pissed right now. I've been through worse. My dad died right after I went in college, and the list can go on.

Tomorrow i'll be back out there "selling" myself to the corporate world, not sitting at home feeling sorry. Today was kinda nice though...I was able to spend it with my family.

Well the owner of the company had a heart attack the night before and the company just doesn't run without him...but now he's better and wants things back in operation. What do you mean what did I "almost not" do?

"what do you almost not do" refers to the fact that you almost got laid off. essentially, what i was asking in a funny (maybe not as funny as it is to me) round-about-way, is what do you do for a living?

Well, even if the bartending thing is out the window now that you have your job back.... Fresca is still one of the keys to happiness. I suggest you unlock it's magic

not to shabby of a web site. most church web sites that i've seen usually look quite bad.
