10. It's fun to say.

9. It's silky smooth.

8. It's quite abundant.

7. It comes in cool colors such as red.

6. It makes any woman wearing it a little hotter.

5. It helps support the dry cleaning industry.

4. It makes for sexy sheets.

3. It isn't prohibitively expensive.

2. Did I mention it feels oh so good?

and drumroll please....

The number one reason why I like Satin? is...

Nobody could possibly ever mistake Satin for Evil Incarnate, the Prince of Darkness, Satan.

Mods, be nice. Please don't lock this on principality?.

It's a dig/slam/tweak at that fellowhsip ibook fella...

Somehow, he's "offended" or ruffled the feathers of some people here lately, so it's open season on the guy apparently.

Funny what gets people's goat sometimes...

I really do like satin...especially satin that is great, or as I refer to it, The Great Satin.

I just think it's a shame that some people forget that Admins and Mods are allowed to have a laugh and a joke too.

Admins and Mods are people too! Shame on those who think they are heartless bastards just because they locked your silly little threads. Join the LET THEM LAUGH? Campaign!

Actually scrub that. I've just been contacted by AppleInsider owner, Mr F Alsename, who has informed me that Admins and Mods are not in fact, allowed to have a sense of humour. In fact, the next-gen Mods will be genetically modified in order to ensure that there are no further slip-ups.

    Please accept my sincerest apologies.

I must agree with pscates, it seems to be open season on fellowship. It also seems that nobody except pscates dare to stand up for him, against what is clearly unfair treatment by AppleInsider. Maybe from fear of the "wrath" of certain admins/mods...or maybe just because you dislike fellowship and get a laugh out of seeing him humiliated?

I may or may not agree with fellowship, but this is just wrong.

Telling me I work for the Great Satin? and his Principalities? is wrong.

Watch out, you're also going to offend the islamists here too.

Power Apple and Pscates, I kinda disagree.

He is very sweet, no question, and he is sincere, but he's also a bit of a pain in the arse. And 'inoffensive' and 'harmless' he ain't. He flamed Pfflam for daring to suggest that Thomas Kinkade's paintings were kitsch, first person to ever get a rise out of the guy, and on this very board (I refer you to 'As Christians') he suggests that members of the Catholic Church are 'fallen' thanks to the work of Satin. I'm no believer, but that's not friendly. I find some of his posts pretty objectionable, actually, but I don't pretend to be Apple Outsider's moral arbiter. That's Groverat's job. Him and Powerdoc. And Jamie.

Now, I come here to argue with folks (I admit it, I do - mea culpa) so I should be delighted he's here. But he doesn't even let you do that. When I tried to argue the toss with him over creationism, he ignored me for almost three days (and I was being NICE), he refused to even consider what I'd put up for him even though he'd asked for it and then he just shut the thread down without even acknowledging me.

So what does he come here for? Recipes for fish? He's evangelising, constantly, and it's annoying. Our other resident high-profile Christian Mr Noah J pisses me off frequently, but then I actively seek him out. What's the dealie? Fellowship doesn't even give me the choice.

I hope he stays because he's sort of what we all come here for but if he does he's archetypal flamebait nd I don't really have any sympathy.

He can post what he wants, but unfortunately for him we can too.

Well if you don't believe in God or Satan then you should just laugh it off. If a muslim tells me that Allah will smite me, I would just laugh in his face and say "Bring it on!"

But if a hardcore muslim told me that Challah (the bread eaten by jews on their sabbath) would smite me because I'm an intel, I would definitely create a thread about that too. Come on...he's hardcore. He should know how to spell these things.

PS: I believe in satin. It's a great fabric as I've described in my initial post.

I'm locking this as it's gonna turn into a flame war.

Fellowship, as I've suggested before please keep all of your religious discussion to one thread. I have nothing against your discussions but similarly if someone was to create multiple threads which were all discussing cats, I'd ask them to do the same.

BR, Satin is a nice material, sorry your thread had to be locked. A free pair of AI satin boxers are on their way to you as compensation.
