Can someone explain to me how I updated to 4.2 without ever thinking about UDID.
When the so-called Golden Master of 4.2 (beta 4?) was available on the net, I updated my iPad with it. This was before Apple released it. It updated fine.
Well, why now that I am trying to download 4.3 (beta 3) over a torrent do keep hearing people mention you need a registered UDID to install this?
I am seeing some conflicting comments now that all I have to do it option-click "Update" in iTunes and update that way and no UDID will ever be asked for.
