NFL Nth week highlights

4th down, two yards to go, a medium length field goal could tie the game, so what do you do? If you're a fool like Mike Martz you go for the 1st down. Ahahaha, what an dork...his ego finally got the best of him.

The Texans not only beating the Cowboys, but making them look like crap. That last safety was the best icing.

Most amazing comeback = Kansas City win over Cleveland, hahahhaha. Dwayne Rudd must feel like a dip right now.

Oh, and the Niners are the only team in the NFC West that won this weekend. Woot!

I really enjoyed watching San Diego administer a harsh beating to Cincinnati. Watching the Chargers win, much less beat down an opponent has been very rare in the last few years.

Hopefully, the Chargers will continue to roll and not choke like last year. Brees played great!!!

The Texans didn't make the Cowboys look like crap, the Cowboys made the Cowboys look like crap. Sweet Jesus, Quincy Carter should've had 6 interceptions.

Well, I lost the pool we had going at work... around $90 I think. So many close games...

Oh well. My Raiders won, that's all that matters.

On the radio broadcast I was listening to, I heard a quote that went something like this.

"The Cowboys might be America's team, but they sure aren't Texas's team!"

Dallas was my only bad pick. Gah, a friggin' expansion team!

The Texans had a huge advantage at QB, Jermaine Lewis screwed Carr out of a long TD pass.

The NFL is the work of the devil. Oh if there were but a salary cap on the evils he has wrought upon the world think of how many could be saved. Repent and accept our lord and savior College Football into your life.

Personal fave highlight: Spurrier cutting his hand trying to whip off his head phones!

Just when I was sure the Jets wouldn't dissapoint me and would lose in spectacular fashion they have to go and ruin everything with a spectacular kick off return. It's so hard being a Jets fan.

bledsoe's hit...not a pat's fan, nor a bledsoe fan...but love when i see a qb hit a lineman like that and have that 300 pound lineman flop on his back with his legs twitching in the air like a bug....you know the guys in the locker room gave him sh!t over that!

I'm sorry, but Buffalo deserved to lose that game. When you get a TD with 10 seconds left and are down by one, go for the two point conversion. Show some guts. Instead, they lose the game on the next play with a 100 yard TD run.

The Patriots play the Steelers tonight. I love how people are still calling the Patriots a 'fluke' when they won the Super Bowl!

After watching Drew in the Big 10 for years, you have to know, any game Drew is in has a chance to win, and if you beat him, you're going to have to score at least 30 points. I'm an OSU fan, but anyone who watched what Brees did at purdue has to be a Brees fan. He burned every team in the big 10 at least once.

    Finally signing Jammer will help.

So your Texas boy got the 6.5 he was looking for?

He was mighty upset the 6th round pick signed for 6.3 while he was being offered, what, 5.8?

Speaking of Texas, R.W. is a beast in that Dolphins uniform.

That dude is wicked fast. I will appreciate him more and more as the season progresses.

I had such high hopes for Karim Abdul-Jabbar. Oh well.

Ricky Williams is the real deal (Holyfield).

I don't know why you'd have high hopes for Jabbar, he's waaaaaay past his prime. I mean, he used to be great but seriously, he's like 7' tall.

    Check out Ricky's lame homepage: <a href="http://www.runrickyrun.com"; target="_blank">http://www.runrickyrun.com;

It's going to be weird to see Miami have a really good running back. You guys might take some shit over with him.

That's also some funny sh!t, tho not as funny as "Run Ronnie, Run! would be if the fvcking thing ever gets released.

Yea, I know. Jimmy Johnson should've been so lucky, dammit.

Karim Abdul Jabbar always sucked. You are letting your love for the [ex-]Bruins cloud your judgement Shannon.

Whoa, I thought the Pats looked more like Super Bowl Champs tonight than they did anytime last year!

It seems like having an acutal, breathing play by play guy has done Madden a lot of good. He got tounge-tied a time or two, but other than that I thought it was the best he's sounded in years. I used to be able to predict what he would say word-for-word, not tonight.

    Jeff

Edit-If anyone was still watching at the very end of the game:

    "Thermometer Airways!"

Madden was really on his game tonight!
