Apple Insiders what made you purchase the iPhone?

Hi Guys,



I'm doing my dissertation on smartphone makers branding practice, especially Apple's take on it. The primary question is why do people prefer one brand over another. It will take you approximately 5 minutes to complete the questions. The information you provide will only be used for academic purpose and will remain anonymous. I need 47 more iPhone response to balance the research.

    I was required to purchase a phone that was compatible with the

    .mac and .me email systems when I took my job. I went to the

    Apple store and asked if I could use any phone other than the

    iPhone and they said no. I bought one, bought the overpriced and

    unsatisfactory AT&T plan only to find out I could have used a

    droid. Hate the phone, really disappointed at the "advice".



    This little misdirection will cost me approximately $2,000 in

    the next two years - and no, the company does not pay for the

    phone.
