what is the difference between acrylic and enamel paints?

    They are completely different things. You can actually have acrylic enamel paints.



    Acrylic refers to the type of binder used for the paint pigment. Enamel is like a protective top layer. You see it a lot in high gloss paints and paints that will see a little more wear and tear.
