That is very cool and in some ways better than what I had considered before with a multi-touch remote allowing you to browse the web from the TV because you don't have to map a keyboard to gestures. When you need to type something, you just look at your device.
Obviously with the iPad, you can use the iPad itself no problem but with an iPhone that has a 960 x 640 screen, being able to take it out your pocket on the sofa and bring up a web page on your 40"+ TV screen might be kinda useful.

I toyed with it for about 2 hours earlier and my battery went from 95% to 83% - and that's with me constantly opening and closing apps and trying different games.
