...for creating the ultimate layered shooters. Anyone got a line on a cheap one that takes 50 mL test tubes? There are a couple on eBay right now but they only take 15 mL. I'm looking to spend under a hundred dollars new, under fifty used.
Check the property sales at some of the universitys in your area. The sell stuff just to get rid of it and you may find one cheap there. You'll get so drunk you may see God
i'll second that. universities get rid of that stuff all the time. the lab i used to work for would chuck all sorts of working equipment because they'd get newer stuff on grants that was more efficient than the old. if they didn't have enough room in their labs, the old stuff gets tossed. i've gotten some kick ass stuff that way...
I think the Navy might entertain an offer on the one at the now closed Naval Air Warfare Center in Warminster Pennsylvania.

Ok. I'll hire you as my agent to arrange that for me.
-- rotating 50ml test tube holders for horizontal wheel mounted on spokes
bartender/shootergirl rides the bike
vertical spin geared to transfer mechanism
power transfer to horizontal wheel
wheel spins like centrifuge
test tubes bonds to spokes on wheel
(more tubes than a lab centrifuge may offer)
bartender gets bonus tips for workout
how about an old turntable set to 78?
how fast do you need it to spin, anyway?
sourcing large centrifuges for questionable purposes might attract BoHS attention about now... better to d.i.y. and avoid the search warrant.

Let's think smaller...I have limited space for such a contraption...but I believe you are on the right track with the diy option.

My fee alone is considerably more than you probably want to spend for the centrifuge.
