I'm happy for her but dissapointed in her as far as behavior and speeches and stuff.

I thought she would be um.... not sure...classier and cooler.

Love her voice, love her music, but dont particular care for her other than that now

Kind of shocked The Rising didn't get Album of the year

I watched her perform and wasn't that impressed. I don't even think she was actually playing the piano.

    What did she say?

I thought she came across very likable -- classy but a little embarrassed and overwhelmed by it all. She sounded great -- I thought her live version of "Don't Know Why" sounded better than the recorded version, at least the vocals. (I cut away to watch "Alias" though, maybe I missed something.)

Have to agree about "The Rising" though -- that album is great. Listening to it now. Bruce and the band sounded good tonight. Also the "London Calling" tribute to Joe Strummer was great.

They continued the grand Grammy tradition of presenters making asses of themselves. I think Erykah Badu is still on stage now trying to get them to rewind the teleprompter.

Bruce Springsteen gets 3 Grammys, none of which were televised.

I'm shocked that The Rising didn't get best album. I know they were pushing the 'new talent' this year, but Springsteen was robbed. He should have had best album honors and they didn't even televise Best Rock Album, despite showing Best Rap Album. A very dissapointing show.

she kept making faces and she said shit.... and i dont know... they were little things.... but, a smile never hurts..... and when she wasnt speaking and was on stage she was making faces or doing something else.

I only wish i knew who she was?¿?¿?¿ Wow...i usually follow music, but had no clue who or what she even sang.

Music shows IMO are a joke anymore...like 10 of them now and all watered down

Somebody new who broke out this year. Her CD has been #1 on Amazon.com a couple of months at least.

I couldn't care less about how someone acts on an awards show.

Her album was the best of that bunch. Go Norah!

Well I'd guess I'm missing out, but I got a small taste thanks to ummm one of those illegal programs. She has a soothing voice, but not really my type of music. Congrats to her though...I guess

It's a beautiful record. I love her voice, can't wait to hear her follow-up work. Her record really left me wanting more. I'm such a sucker for good female vocals

It's even clearer to me now this morning than it was last night.

Norah Jones? What were these people thinking?

    Springsteen was robbed.

I'm glad somebody else noticed this. Don't you think that at the beginning of the performance, she was confused as to whether she was supposed to start playing?

Overall, not a real good live performance, IMHO.

You gotta love it when a record whose big single was a originally a demo wins not only album of the year, but best engineered album.

Norah Jones wins most overrated artist of the year in my opinion. If you want the best 'female' album of last year, and in my opinion the best overall album, go buy <a href="http://www.bloodshotrecords.com/bands.php3?bandid=24"; target="_blank">Blacklisted by Neko Case. Better writing, better singing and better album than Come Away With Me (yes, I'd say even better engineering too!)

I actually like Norah Jones too.

Norah rocks. I actually downloaded her entire CD from those terrible internet music pirate types... then went out and paid for the CD anyway. It was that good.
