My First Full Length Movie. (New 3/5)

The title of this movie is Anxious High, in reference to the type of life a High School student has to live. I play "Chris", a student that just gets fed up with his family and just everyday routine. Think of this as Ferris Bueller with a Shyamalan twist. So, here is the first 5 minutes or so of my movie, which I have written, directed, and produced. Enjoy

But first here is the script of one of my favorite scenes.

Sitting at a lunch table with friends...

Tyler: I wish they served apple sauce instead of these plain old apples everyday. I want a choice in what I eat, you know? I am really in the mood for some apple sauce.

Chris: You want some apple sauce? You want some god damned apple sauce? I will give you some apple sauce.

I then take his apple from him and smash it into my head until pulp and juices are running down my face and clothes, all while I am completely stone faced and my friends are laughing hysterically.

What beginning to any dramatic comedy has a lighting fast start?

Come on, it really isnt bad at all, i like the beginning.

Awesome, and I assume you used iMovie (or FCP?). I thought you did a great job portraying "getting up in the morning" - one of my most hated things. GRR

well... the part with the 2nd song is better.... quicker pace.

the beginning... too dragged out... not enough sound to fill it..... camera angles dont match up

    at least IMO.

    NOTE

Product placement does not refer to music, it only refers to the use of products (like Coke, Pizza Hut, etc). Anything else (examples: photographs, original artwork and music) is a licensing issue, and studios must pay the owner of the product and obtain their written permission. In the case of photographs with other people in them the studio must also obtain the permission of the people in the photographs, and pay them a fee.

    So, music isn't product placement.

Your house is pretty posh. My parents' house is not as posh, nor have been any of my residences.

Those were five minutes of my life that I regret wasting.

    You might want to try something like <a href="http://jobsearch.monster.com/getjob.asp?JobID=16651096&amp;AVSDM=2003-02-05+17% 3A22%3A00%2E000&CCD=my%2Emonster%2Ecom&JSD=jobsear ch%2Emonster%2Ecom&HD=company%2Emonster%2Ecom&AD=h ttp%3A%2F%2Fjobsearch%2Emonster%2Ecom%2Fjobsearch% 2Easp%3Fpg%3D6%26q%3Dsecretary%26sort%3Drv%26vw%3D b%26cy%3DUS%26brd%3D1%252C1862%252C1863&Logo=1&col =dltci&cy=US&brd=1%2C1862%2C1863&lid=&fn=&q=secret ary" target="_blank">this</a> instead.

I wish I could get up as late as 7 to go to high school. 5:45 is more like it <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />

That's pretty good. A little slow moving, but I imagine it'll pick up. What can possibly not be slow moving about getting out of bed on a school day?

Not bad, Mac. As a video producer, I will say that some of it could have been paced better (action and editing), but overall it was all right for someone that's not a "professional."

    I'll give it a 8.0 on a scale of 1-10. That's a "B."
