Next generation Airport Express?

Hi everyone,



I have been curious if anyone might know when the next generation Airport Express will arrive? As far as I know, the current one has been on the market for 3 years already. I am looking to buy one, but don't want to if Apple will release one next couple of months.

    How could they update it? 802.11ac won't even ben in draft until 2013. There's nothing that can be changed about any of the AirPort family.

    AirPort Express was actually given an immaterial update shortly after WWDC. It's possible that they run cooler now but so far no one has reported a noticeable difference, except that they are indeed new models with new part numbers.

    Oh, thanks for that information. I didn't know about that minor update. That makes it even less likely that there will be a major update in the near future.
