OS 9 Installation Problems
My G3 desktop died and I'm trying to install OS9. It had 9.1 on it and ran fine until it started acting funny this week and finally gave out.
The HD has been intialized so it's completely empty. I get the computer up and running off of the CD but when I go to install it says:
The helper application "Installer Engine" unexpectedly quit...." Please try again.
I have tried the Clean Install and it does not work either.
Any thoughts?
