Finder problem in 10.1

Having a problem with OSX.1. Double clicking on documents in the Finder starts the relevant application but not the document itself. I've tried this with documents created and saved before and after the upgrade. I think they were mostly Office 2001 docs.



Anyone else had any problems like this? any feedback welcome.
