WAZE to collaborate with the 'enemy'
Hey guys, ever heard of WAZE?
WAZE is a free crowdsourced LIVE dynamic satnav/traffic information system. With WAZE you can get notified, miles ahead, that a traffic jam just started building on your route, even before the cops are under way to the scene of the accident. So you can detour early and effectively, if you so decide. Or you can get notified of mobile speed traps or other hazards! Etc. etc.
The WAZE system totally works on user generated content (4 million users by now). By merely driving around with the app open you already contribute to the building of the maps. See your own avatar, and those of other WAZErs, moving live on the dynamic map, and ping a specific one if you have a question or remark for LIVE 'management' of your route and routing.
WAZE is ideal for commuters and other drivers!
Get the WAZE app for free in the iOS App Store, or Android Market, etc.
The more users use WAZE, the better the system gets, obviously.
It is touted to be better than e.g. Google Nav or Tom-Tom...
It certainly provides more, and better LIVE traffic info, features, and flexibility than those two do, in my yet brief experience!
