Ship date for Verizon 10/14/11

I got my iPhone ordered within 10 minutes after it went on sale from Verizon. My order status says it will ship on the 14th. Does this mean it will ship from China on the 14th or will it ship locally to arrive at my home on the 14th? Does anyone know for sure?

    Check the email confirmation you received. That's the definitive answer. Yours probably says what mine does: "Thank you for your order. It is being processed and will be shipped to arrive on 10/14/11."
