Cant Download

Just a few days ago I found out I can download anything. I press the link to download the software and my browser does nothing to even try to download it. I tried reinstalling Internet Explorer and Even Netscape. Nothing works. HELP!!!!! <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

What OS?



What versions of NS & IE?



Can you drag and drop files from the web?



http downloads only or problems with also ftp?



To what location are files set to be downloaded (desktop or some place else)?

Well, the current OS I'm using is Mac OS 9.2.2. I have Internet Explorer 5.1 and Netscape 6.2.

I cant drag and drop files onto my computer. I can download for http and ftp, and the location for my downloads are my desktop. I dont understand what's wrong

What do you mean, you can't download. Can you describe the problem a little more? Can you give me an example pagw that you can;t download from?



As far as your download location, look in the Internet control panel. You can change that there.

Well, obviously you can download (by simply loading a web page, you are downloading files to your browser's cache), but you're just having trouble saving files.



Sorry, I can't think of any suggestions but I just had to clear part that up.

If I would go to, lets say Apple.com. I go to the software download section. I try to download an update for Mac OS 9. I click the icon which downloads the software. I look at my download manager and nothing is downloading no matter what site I go to.
