multi user password work around?
i have a friend who forgot their password on their OS 9 machine. (9.2.1 to be exact).
i was going to just get her on her machine to get some files when i found out there's no easy way (that i know of) to get around the new multi user startup.
i tried my trusty OS 9 boot CD, starting with extensions off, and holding down the space bar to remove the plugin while starting up.
none of these worked. anyone know how i can get around this for a short term fix? eventually i'll just reset the info for her, but in the mean time, i'd like to know how to get on a machine like this if i need to w/o having to track down the user.
