    Oops! I hope this bug has been reported to Apple!



    For those that don't want to download the video, it shows an iPad 2 with the security code option activated (when the iPad is unlocked the user is asked to enter their pin). However, if the following procedure is followed:
    • power button is held down whilst the security-code entry pad is displayed, such that the power-off screen appears

    • whilst power-off screen is displayed, close and open the smart-cover

    • now press the button at the bottom of the power off screen

    The iPad will unlock without requesting the pin code!

    It only unlocks to the currently open app. Any attempt at launching another app or switching to another app will result in the lock screen again. It's still a major security bug.
