I have a blueberry iBook, which has no "insert" key. Which brings me to my question...How do you use typeover in Microsoft Word?

    I think the answer is: you don't. <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" />

Seriously, I don't think I've ever seen someone use that function on a Mac. The only times I've used it on a Windows box were by accident and I actually found it rather annoying. Come to think of it, I just asked around and none of my PC buddies here use the "insert" key either.

If you actually liked that functionality, I'm afraid you'll have to learn to adapt without it.

Look under tools options edit tab and there you can click on overtype. Just the same as on PC.
