OSXServer -- Sharing a USB printer over LPR

In Mac OS X Server 10.1.4 (just installed clean...), I'm trying to share a USB printer over LPR. Ok so Print Service starts, and i got my printer drivers installed (i can print to it from the comp connected to it), etc. Ok so in server admin i click on Print and select Print monitor. I see my printer is one of the queues, so i select it and click edit, but now the Share via: LPR and SMB boxes arent selectable! Ahh! Why not?? And if i click ok, it gives me an error that says the print service encountered a system error that prevents it from saving the changes. <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" /> Any insight?

    Is it supposed to work? Haven't heard of MacOSX users sharing USB printers...

    You got farther than me. I couldn't get print admin to even see the printer, although I set it up fine in the Print Center and had printed to it locally.
