Adium chat room bug (?)

Okay, I'm using the current Adium 1.6 now. The problem I have is that I cannot create or join a chat room that has any special characters in it. I've tried all sorts of combinations and even simple things like apostrophes, hyphens, and question marks block it. After about fifteen seconds, whether the chat is still open or not, I get a message saying the room is unavailable.

Has anyone else experienced this bug? Or am I utterly alone here? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

    Well, nevermind. Adam himself answered my question. Apparently AIM doesn't suport these characters for chat rooms -- at all. There *should* however be an error trap on Adium's side that notifies the user that you can't use those characters in chat room names.
