Airport problems
I'm running OS 10.1.4 on a Sawtooth G4 and a 550Mhz TiBook with Airport cards and Airport Base Station 2.0 (Firmware version 2.02). While Airport is great for networking all the Macs in my house, the problem is if one of my computers is connected to the network and a user logs off, the computer hangs for about 3-5 minutes before the log on screen appears. There is similar hang time when a computer boots. Is there any way to eliminate the hang time other than disconnecting from the network before logging off or shutting down?
