Drive From TiBook to Lombard

I recently swapped the drive out of my tibook for a bigger one, and now I want to put the old drive in a lombard powerbook g3. Everything is still installed on the drive (9.2.2) and I want to leave it that way. Can I just throw it in the lombard and have it work? If it won't for some reason, is there a way I can avoid needing to reinitialize the drive?

    Put it in, it will work.



    If it doesn't (but it will), simply boot off the 9.2 CD and reinstall overtop of the System Folder (as opposed to a 'clean' system folder).
