I have about 600 Megabytes of text files that I want to burn to cd. I would like to index them using sherlock so when I put the cd in the mac and pull up sherlock the cd shows up as an indexed item.

So far I have tried indexing the folder and burning the cd. (with the the index file included , i don't remember offhand what it is called) That didnt work. I haven't tried anything else yet...but there has to be a way to do it...doesn't there??

as always any help is greatly appreciated.

My best gues would be to create a disk image, index it, THEN burn it to CD. This is a guess, but it might work.

    good idea...but no dice.

It shows up in sherlock as indexed but when you try to do a search a message pops up that says you need to index it first.

    anyone else got any ideas.
