How does Siri compare with Dragon? Could it ever be used instead of Dragon Naturally Speaking?

Since they use the same system, I'd imagine they're quite comparable.

For straight dictation, they're more-or-less the same thing.
Siri, however, is tied into the OS such that it can DO stuff... much more than just "dictation".
But if you've used Dragon, then you understand how Siri works.

Is it possible to use Siri on an iMac? Is there a Siri for desktops?

There's Dragon dictation for desktops. There never was a Siri.
I'm sure we'll see Siri on Macs at some point soon.
