TV Tuner sound problems

I have a Cube and I bought the Viewsonic VB50HRTV to watch TV on my display. The picture works fine. I had to buy a Griffin Technologies USB iMic to let me do sound in on my Cube. The sound is going in from the TV Tuner to the iMic into the Cube, because when I go into the Alerts tab in the Sound Control panel in OS 9 I can record a snippet of the sound and play it back. But the sound won't play directly on my speakers when I set the input to iMic USB audio and the output to the built in speakers. I just don't hear anything.



It is difficult because I only have two USB ports so I have to switch between the iMic, the speakers, and the keyboard while troubleshooting.

    I would check with Griffin about this. It triggers a memory that there is a problem on some machines enabling playthrough with the iMic (or any USB audio). They may have a work around.
