Rosetta vs Photoshop 7.

It's old version.

I'm running a dual core iMac 3.0 4 gigs of Ram.

I have Adobe Design Collection (before it became CS this and that...)

eg Photoshop 7

Illustrator 10

InDesign 2

Acrobat 5.

I've installed Illustrator 10. Fine. It recognised the lack of Classic environment and installed. It runs ok.

But Photoshop 7. It installed as per above. But when it attempts to load it hangs with the error, "An unexpected and unrecoverable problem has occurred because of a program error. Photoshop will now exit."

(Installed Rosetta off the Snow Leopard install disk. My system is Snow Leopard 10.6.8)

Any advice?

Best,

Lemon Bon Bon.

I also have the demo of Photoshop Elements installed (I was weighing up purchasing a new version of Photoshop vs just settling for Elements...) That wouldn't cause a conflict, would it?

Do you have a snippet of a crash log? Just 10 lines or so around where it says Thread 0 crashed. If it doesn't load an option to see the crash log, check the console app for the log.
