***Please need help*** Powerbook G3 is not charging!!!!!

Hey, I dropped a Powerbook of my friend's and he doesn't know that I did yet. he has the G3 powerbook firewire edition. Once I dropped it, I plugged the charger back in and I saw that it didn't charge. I tried another person's power cord and it didn't work either. I called the Apple store and they said that I would have to send it out to Houstin ( I don't want to send it because it may take too long). Apple's site says something about the "power manager"? Anyways, I knwo someone out there will help me (please). thank you...

    Yikes, ummmm. There could be many things wrong with it. <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" /> The battery could have gotten damaged when you droped it. Something could have gotten jumbled inside. Try finding a repair shop near you. Just make sure is a apple authorized repair shop. I'll think about it and post when I'v come up with some other possiblities.
