iDVD in iLife '11

If I update to iLife '11 will I lose the ability to burn DVDs with iDVD?

    You should still be able to use iDVD but not export to it directly. You'd have to export an H.264 movie and manually place that into iDVD.



    I imagine they decided not to include that functionality with iMovie 11 because most footage is shot in HD now and when you burn to DVD, you are downgrading footage to standard definition.



    Even burning an H.264 .mp4 clip onto a DVD as a data disc and sending to someone to play on a computer is higher quality.
