Needing internal IDE CDRW drive

where to find one in the UK....!



Every mac UK retailer site lists all the USB/Firewire drives, but not one I could find had any internal drives.



Can I use the Internal IDE cdrw drives for PC's. I cant see why not, but do I need software to run them, I have toast 4.1 and obviously OSX,s and OS9.2's built in burner, but these didn't work with my Lacie 4x4x32 (even thou the drive is listed as supported!)



BTW the Lacie died!. and i'd only used it less than 10 times. No more expensive cdrw's for me.

    Try <a href="http://eshop.macsales.com"; target="_blank">Other World Computing</a>. I know that they're based in the USA, but if you look at the Customer Service page, they have a phone number for international sales. Also, they only sell products that are Mac-compatible.
