No clean install option?

Apparently, when I install Jaguar at the select destination disk there should be an options button that allows me to do a clean install. When I installed Jag, no such button was present at any point in the install. I did a straigh ugrade since I didn't have a choice. I would prefer to do a "clean" Archive and install, but still do not see that option when I run the install.



I originally upgraded from 10.1.5 and am now running 10.2 on a TiBook 500 with 256megs of RAM and a 20g HD (plus an 80g external HD)

You got Jag through the Mac OS Up-To-Date program, right? If yes, you need to hack and burn a new installer disc to get the options to appear. For no reason, Apple disabled "Clean" and "Archive" installs on the "Upgrade" CDs.
